English Department Hosts Successful Enterprise Networking Event: “Bridging Futures: English, AI & Career Synergy”
Đà Nẵng, June 14, 2024 — In a remarkable highlight of the 2025 Career Week, the Faculty of English at the University of Foreign Languages – Social Sciences and Humanities successfully organized a business networking event under the theme “Bridging Futures: English, AI & Career Synergy.” Held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Room 405, G Building, the event brought together students, faculty, and representatives from leading businesses in hospitality, education, and technology.
A Bridge Between Academia and Industry
The event was designed to provide English majors with valuable exposure to industry expectations, recruitment trends in the era of artificial intelligence, and the increasingly vital role of English in modern professional settings. Through direct interaction with industry leaders, students gained practical insights that complement their academic training.
In her opening remarks, the Head of the English Department emphasized the importance of bridging classroom learning with real-world demands. She highlighted the department’s ongoing commitment to providing students with opportunities to explore career pathways and build networks that may shape their professional futures.
