On July 14, 2025, DTU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Minnesota Crookston, one of the five member universities of the prestigious University of Minnesota system in the United States.

Accordingly, DTU and the University of Minnesota Crookston carry out activities such as organizing short-term exchange programs for lecturers and students (Visiting International Programs), discussing enrollment plans for the distance learning program of the University of Minnesota Crookston, holding international conferences, and exploring cooperation in developing a 2+2 Overseas Study program in Business English, etc.

As a member of the University of Minnesota System, the University of Minnesota Crookston stands out for its educational model that tightly integrates theory and practice, with a strong focus on technology application and the development of modern online education.
