English Faculty's Debate Contest Kicks Off with Exciting Preliminary Round
The English faculty's annual debate contest commenced on November 17, 2023, with an exhilarating opening round. The atmosphere was electric as three esteemed judges, all international lecturers from the department, presided over the proceedings. Mr. Gregory Sadler from Canada, Mr. Tyler Corbett from the United States, and Mr. Jon Dalangin from the Philippines brought their expertise and global perspectives to the competition.
The contestants, eager to showcase their debating prowess, engaged in spirited discussions, tackling a range of thought-provoking topics. The judges attentively assessed their arguments, evaluating their research, analysis, and presentation skills.
