Student Nguyen Ngoc Han, majoring in Civil Engineering - Duy Tan University (DTU) was honored to receive the Vietnam Science and Technology Female Student Award 2025 at the Award Ceremony organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology on October 29, 2025 in Hanoi. Ngoc Han is one of 20 outstanding female students nationwide to be honored with this prestigious award in 2025.

The Vietnam Science and Technology Female Student Award 2025 is awarded to female students with outstanding academic achievements, scientific research publications at home and abroad, prizes in academic competitions, and active participation in Union - Association activities and student movements. Each honored individual is a typical model of the intelligence, courage and dedication of young Vietnamese female intellectuals in the new era.

Ngoc Han's journey is not only marked by outstanding academic achievements but also shows the image of a dynamic, confident student, always ready to spread her passion and inspiration for scientific research to the community.

The journey of a brilliant "flower"

In a field of study that is considered the "territory" of men, the appearance of a petite, gentle but energetic female student like Ngoc Han has "blown" a new wind into the classroom space of Duy Tan University's Civil Engineering department. Not only impressing with her bright appearance, Ngoc Han also makes the "heroes" in the class more respectful because of her serious spirit in studying and scientific research to achieve many impressive achievements.

"I chose Civil Engineering not only because of my love for construction but also because of my admiration for the engineers who have built great works. Not only as designers or constructors, Civil Engineers are 'protectors of the safety, life and trust of the community'. This belief has become a strong source of motivation that urges me to constantly strive. Each subject, each drawing or each practice hour at Duy Tan University is a small step to help me get closer to my dream of becoming a good engineer to contribute real values ​​to society", Ngoc Han shared.

From that responsible mindset, Ngoc Han has constantly strived to assert herself on the path of studying and researching. Not only has she been an excellent student for many years, Ngoc Han has also won many awards such as:

 

- Third Prize in the National Mechanics Olympiad 2025,

- First Prize and Third Prize in the Student Scientific Research Conference at the School of Technology & Engineering (SET) 2025 and 2024,

- Project leader "Green Construction Materials" won Third Prize at the VietFuture Awards 2025 - Future Innovation Award.

In addition, Ngoc Han has also actively participated in Union - Association activities and has been awarded many titles such as:

 

- Advanced Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings nationwide and at the City level. Da Nang in 2025,

- "5 Good Students" at the city level for the 2023 - 2024 school year,

- Certificate of Merit from the Da Nang City Youth Union,

- Certificate of Merit from the Duy Tan University Student Association for outstanding achievements in the Youth Union and the school Youth movement in 2023 - 2024,

Receiving the 2025 Vietnam Female Science and Technology Student Award, Ngoc Han said: "For me, the Award is not only an honor but also a reminder of the responsibility of the generation of Young Female Intellectuals - those who dare to engage in in-depth research, persistently pursue knowledge and, more importantly, create practical values ​​that contribute to the development of the country. This is also the motivation for me to continue my passion for learning and research, contributing to science - technology, innovation and National Digital Transformation, in line with the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo".

- Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Construction.
