Duy Tan University Graphic Design students won 8 awards at The International Design Awards


With extremely beautiful, creative designs and well conveying the message for the brand, 2 logo designs by 2 students of Duy Tan University were awarded Bronze (Third prize) at the Design Competition. Logo design organized by The International Design Awards (IDA) in the US.

Two students, Tran Vu Quynh Thi and Nguyen Ha Uyen, studying Graphic Design at Duy Tan University, were awarded Bronze (third prize) at the Logo Design Competition organized by The International Design Awards (IDA) in the US. . In addition, 6 other students of Duy Tan University participating in this contest also won Honorable Mentions (encouragement prizes) with extremely impressive logos.

 

The International Design Awards (IDA) is an international design award aimed at recognizing and honoring outstanding designs while finding new talents in the fields of architecture, interior design, product design, graphics and Fashion design around the world.

 

Using Typography design style to arrange and shape the letters, and cleverly exploit the similarity and repetition of the two letters M and E for the "MEMÊ" brand logo with the desire to widely promote Promoting the Northwestern cider apple cider product, student Tran Vu Quynh Thi has sketched a creative and impressive logo design at first sight. Taking the idea of the two words "ENJOY" being repeated, combined with the tilting effect, Quynh Thi has amplified the feeling of infatuation and intoxication when feeling the scent and taste of the Northwestern apple cider line. of Vietnam.

 

Quynh Thi shared: "I was very impressed with the unique fermented drink distilled from the freshest tamarind apples in the Northwest region. Therefore, I came up with the idea and sketched the first drawings. for the brand logo 'MEME' specifically for Northwest apple cider products.

 

Initially, my design only used one monochrome color for the entire logo, so it looked quite monotonous and somewhat boring. However, after receiving feedback from the instructor, I used brighter, contrasting colors to both evoke the happy atmosphere that 'MÊMÊ' brings and also to associate with the motifs. Thanks to the companionship and enthusiastic support of the Graphic Design lecturers, Faculty of Applied Arts (under SET) of Duy Tan University, I was able to complete the logo and express my desires."
