Duy Tan University students in the Top 20 excellent students receiving Logistics Human Resources Development Scholarships


The Vietnam Logistics Human Resources Development Association (VALOMA) awarded scholarships to 20 talented students who overcame difficulties to achieve excellent academic results on November 30, 2024 at the University of Transport (Hanoi). Constantly striving to overcome all difficulties to achieve good academic results, student Trinh Thanh Ly, studying at the Nam Khue Faculty of Management of Duy Tan University, has become one of 20 excellent students nationwide to receive scholarships on this occasion.

 

Understanding the difficult circumstances of her family when her father died early, her mother was sick, her family was near-poor, lacking everything, so from a young age, Thanh Ly always kept in mind that she had to work much harder than her peers. The little girl also always reminded herself to live positively, study hard and do well so that in the future she can build a career and help her family a lot. That determination was rewarded with remarkable achievements during Thanh Ly's time studying at Duy Tan University. Not only achieving a GPA (academic average) of 3.89/4, Thanh Ly is also the owner of a collection of "huge" achievements such as:

 

* Champion of the Vietnam ERP Simulation Competition 2024,

* Champion of the School-level ERP Simulation Competition,

* Second Prize in the English-Speaking Competition at Duy Tan University in 2024,

* Certificate of Merit for Excellent Achievements in International Integration 2023 - 2024,

* Received a Full Scholarship to attend the APEC Asia-Pacific Simulation Conference in Taipei, Taiwan (China) in 2024,

* Valedictorian (entrance) of the School of Economics & Business (SBE), Duy Tan University

Trinh Thanh Ly deserves to be one of the 20 excellent and talented students receiving a scholarship from the Vietnam Logistics Human Resources Development Association in 2024. The female student of Duy Tan University was also honored to be selected as the representative of the 20 students Outstanding scholarship recipients spoke at the Honor Ceremony organized by VALOMA on the morning of November 30, 2024 in Hanoi.

Sharing about her own study efforts, Thanh Ly said: “From the beginning of the school year, I set specific goals for each subject and allocated reasonable study time. I focused on completing my assignments and projects well and prepared carefully for exams to achieve high scores. Along with the learning process, I actively participated in professional events and seminars in the field of Logistics to accumulate more knowledge of the profession, and also participated in many community activities. These activities are all included in the VALOMA Scholarship review criteria and I am very happy to be one of 20 students nationwide to receive this Scholarship.

I am always determined to study well to contribute a small part to creating a quality logistics workforce in Vietnam. Hopefully in the near future, we will have the opportunity to become skilled personnel, return to develop the VALOMA Scholarship Fund and support many more students like us now,” Thanh Ly shared.
