Duy Tan University trains 4-7 credits of AI and Entrepreneurship for all students

Duy Tan University has just officially announced the re-planning of the entire training program to teach and train mandatory Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills and Entrepreneurship knowledge for all undergraduate students from the new K-31 enrollment course (2025-2026 school year).

For old courses with students currently studying at the school, AI and Entrepreneurship skills and knowledge will also be gradually supplemented to ensure that students are fully "equipped" when participating in the future labor market.

Not stopping at integrating AI into the content of specialized subjects when possible, this re-planning of Duy Tan University's training program for AI will include 3 mandatory AI credits and can add from 1 to a maximum of 3 specialized AI credits depending on the training major; throughout the university journey, ensuring continuity, practicality and relevance to each major. The goal is not only to help students understand AI but also to make this AI an indispensable part of their career thinking.

3 compulsory AI credits include:

• 1 credit: basic AI skills in life and academia,

• 1 credit: AI skills and knowledge by major,

• 1 credit: AI competencies required for the training major (may include computational skills and programming Machine Learning or Deep Learning).

Specifically, with the first credit in the first year of university, students will be exposed to core concepts, development history and potential applications of AI in all fields. Not only providing theoretical knowledge, students are also trained in essential academic AI skills, conducting scientific research with the support of AI, summarizing learning materials, designing and presenting reports or projects professionally, etc. Popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grok, Notion AI, Gamma/SlidesAI, etc. will be integrated into the lectures. Knowledge about ethical use of AI will also be introduced.

For the next AI credit, the training content is customized to suit the characteristics of each industry (represented by training schools or members of the Duy Tan University system):

• Technology & Engineering students will explore how to use AI in automated programming, source code analysis, or designing intelligent data systems.

• Economics, Management, Finance & Services students will have access to AI tools to analyze market data, forecast consumer trends, assess risks, and automate marketing, organizational, and financial reports.
