Highlights from the 2024 Student Research Symposium of the School of Languages, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Duy Tan University


On April 25, 2024, Duy Tan University's School of Languages, Humanities, and Social Sciences (LHSS) successfully hosted its highly anticipated Student Research Symposium. The event was a remarkable showcase of academic excellence, featuring the best of student research in the fields of Social Sciences and Foreign Languages.

The symposium was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests. Among them were Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, Vice Rector of Duy Tan University and President of LHSS, and Dr. Le Thi Huong, Vice Rector of LHSS. Their attendance underscored the significance of the event and highlighted the university's commitment to fostering a strong research culture among its students.

Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu and Dr. Le Thi Huong both delivered inspiring keynote addresses, offering valuable advice and insights to the students. Dr. Phu emphasized the importance of perseverance and innovation in academic research, while Dr. Huong highlighted the need for interdisciplinary approaches and the practical applications of research findings. Their words were a source of great inspiration, encouraging students to pursue their academic and professional goals with determination and creativity.

The symposium featured 11 outstanding student research presentations that were highly evaluated by the academic committee. These studies spanned a wide range of topics within the Social Sciences and Foreign Languages, demonstrating the diversity and depth of research being conducted at LHSS. Three most outstanding studies were selected to be presented at the Research Symposium of Duy Tan university 2024.
